I never heard of this company before, but I sure hope they stick around. Then when I had a question, I had no trouble finding a simple support email address on the manufacturer's website, and didn't have to w ait long for a response. Panda Wireless PAU09 N600 Dual Band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wireless N USB Adapter W/Dual 5dBi Antennas - Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10, Mint, Ubuntu, openSUSE, Fedora. This adapter has not shut down once in the 3 weeks since installation, comes right back online after computer hibernation, and as a bonus is unmistakable faster in both initiating network connections and data transfer. When I found this Panda rated the second best adapter among a dozen tested in a recent (2017) review, I was skeptical because of its low price.(Apparently so were the reviewers). The computer was often used for remote live video to watch pets so I needed better reliability. I wrestled for quite a while with a netgear adapter that kept randomly shutting down (apparently a common complaint with many for their models).
Surprisingly fast, very reliable, amazing value.
